When buying golf tees one can pick colors, length, logo, or material, but basically all the tees do the same job. The cheapest tee will perform the same basic function as the most expensive. Price dominates the choice.
Unfortunately, in the service sector decisions are regularly based only on cost per hour basis as if people's service is as easy to purchase as golf tees, and little value is placed on employee selection training supervision the leading indicators of project success. Cost per hour should only be one criteria used in service selection. Value is the goal!
