APT Mod-Weld Robot

At Westmont, innovation is what drives us. Our latest step forward is the addition of the APT Mod-Weld Robot, bringing cutting-edge technology to our welding team. This system delivers speed, precision, and safety on every project, helping us work smarter and faster. 

For a recent project involving the fabrication of 93,000 weldments, we used this technology to streamline production. By updating the customer’s design, we reduced welding time per part from 4 minutes 30 seconds to just 2 minutes 30 seconds, saving several thousand man-hours. All welding can now be completed in one shift, thanks to the efficiency of our robotic systems. 

Our team of six fully trained welders operates these robots to maximize performance and quality. After welding, components are shipped for powder coating and then delivered to the customer—ensuring a smooth process from start to finish.
